Since I began using Wordpress 1½ years ago I’ve been building and modifying my own theme. It’s been fun and I learned a lot from it, but I really felt that I had taken it as far as I could. Since I’ve been home with a terrible cold the last few days I’ve had some time to think about what I wanted to do with the blog, and today when my fever was gone I began playing around with some ideas.

I’ve modified a K2 theme and stripped off the sidebars. The content that you would usually find there is at the bottom of the page instead. Also, I’ve chosen to only display the latest post on the front page. Why!? It looks good.

Last but not least there is a new and AJAX-powered search tool. Try it and you’ll figure out how it works.
