“Final Sleep” from the album “Knive” by Svarte Greiner is one of the most important tracks for me this year. What at first seems to be a wellcrafted ambient track that takes its time and develop naturally, while lush pads and soprano vocals float around in dense reverb, after a few listens appears to be much more. What makes it rise above the rest is the fact that he isn’t afraid to toss some humour into the mix. I wont spoil the surprise and tell you what it is though, I suggest that you look it up instead.
“Final Sleep” has everything I want from music at the moment.

It’s a great song idd. I like the album as a whole as well. I’m now putting together my end of the year list and it’s a definite candidate. As of this moment I’m down to 25. Check noctos’ blog at the very beginning of next year. Making lists is fun!
