We would like to thank you for your purchase of KLC series products.

This time we have decided to unify two versions of KLC series products using different copy protection methods into only one version using the USB key copy protection. In this way we are choosing to concentrate our development resources to provide better products to all our users.

For the version 1.1 or earlier products that you are currently using (with the challenge/response code copy protection), the upcoming version 1.1.10 supporting the Windows Vista OS (32-bit), and the Mac version with minor bug fixes, will be the final updates. No further updates to the challenge/response code versions will be developed (other than bug fixes, if needed).
As for the License Code issuance and user support services, we of course will continue the same services as we have now.

KORG Legacy Collection team

I’ve been spending the whole evening trying to install the Korg Legacy Collection on my Intel Macbook without success. Then I found this letter on the Korg website stating that they wont update the version I am using to UB, alas I won’t be able to use a synth + midi controller I’ve bought and paid for. This could be ok if they didn’t update it at all, which they do, only problem is I have to buy a Syncrosoft USB-dongle + a new license for $15.

Problem #1 - I have no idea where to buy a dongle, I’ve been looking through all the major Swedish music stores online and can’t find one.

Problem #2 - I don’t want to let the fuckers get away with this.

If anyone can hook me up with a cracked version of the Korg Legacy Collection v. 1.2.1 for Mac, please tell me.

I’ve found the dongle and it costs something line $25, so I guess I’ll have to buy that and a new license. I still think it is seriously fucked up by Korg to do this though, and I won’t buy from them again unless it something old, second hand and analogue.
