deatspell omega är probably my favorite record for 2007, but i'm very into the "over the top" aspects. need to hear the wolves in the throne room album. the forgotten tomb album to me sounds like a mix between alice in chains, isis and finnish funeral doom like skepticism of something. i love it, of course. they are my guilty pleasure.

Now this is what makes end of year lists such fun. You get to discover all kinds of music that you didn't find that same year. Now listening to Shining and Deathspell Omega (those were the ones I knew, besides the obvious ones). And before I forget: Best wishes to you and Hanna. Take care.
